HFH (or Handjobs For Hobos) was formed in October of '02 when Andrew Burke decided to start a solo project. After writing a couple really bad songs, Dan Duerst decided to help out on bass. After a few practices the Alone Forever EP was recorded. Obviously, they had rushed into recording and the final product wasn't very good. Somehow their name got out, merch was made, and soon everyone had an HFH pin. They then began their epic search for a drummer.
Then after almost a third of a year of being together, they found Josh Hooten. A few good practices were had, but Hooten was just too busy to be in a band and had to drop out (or be dropped out, whatever the case may be). So, the search for a drummer continuted...
Soon later, they recruited a second guitarist by the name of John McGuire. John and Danny had worked well together in the band CGAF and it was a welcome addition to HFH. After a few practices, John became too busy with school and his presence in HFH quickly faded away.
After this, Dan and Andrew decided to settle with being an acoustic act for the time being (except for a few fun distorted electric practices now and then). In March of '04, HFH will release an acoustic EP. Keep a look out!
