Lysis is a five-piece metal band from Lahr/Schwarzwald. The original lineup found together in 2006 and played the first show in early 2007. The band soon became known for their powerful and intense liveshows and played several shows in Baden-Württemberg, Eastern Germany and Switzerland.
Drawing musical influences from several styles of oldschool metal and newschool metalcore, they do not care about genres but aim to create a heavy, energetic yet melodic sound that just kicks your ass at any show.
In April 2008, the band has released their first EP titled "Illusion of Sunset" on their own. Recorded in their hometown Lahr, Germany in the Neuwerk13 Studios the EP features eight tracks and more than half an hour of powerful modern metal. Shortly after the release some lineupchanges could not be avoided but with a new guitarist the band reemerged even stronger. 2010 saw the band move onward to new horizons with the release of "Extinction Of Believers". We are happy to welcome a new bassplayer in our team and are now ready to blow your stages up! Anyway, this was just the beginning.be prepared for some heavy new stuff soon!
