Biography:
LUCID was established in 2000. With the departure of a few members, LUCID has built a solid foundation with the talented; Dylan Harris, playing bass , Chris McCoy, vocals, Jason Hart on guitar and Mike Clampffer on drums.
In February 2003, LUCID climbed to the top recording a 4 song demo with 3 songs reaching number one on mp3.com. Within a few months, LUCID hit the road and has shared the bill with recording artists Papa Roach (Geffen), TRUST company (Geffen),ADEMA (ARISTA Records), SLOTH (Hollywood Records) LUXT (Blackliner Records) 40 GRIT (Metal Blade Records), FIVE FOOT THICK (ECLIPSERECORDS) 6 GIG (ULTIMATUM RECORDS),SIR-MIX-A-LOT (imusic records), and 13 DAYS(SGM records).
Compared to bands like Tool, Faith No More, and SEVENDUST, LUCID brings a fresh new sound to theNorthwest music scene. In less than a year LUCID has gained recognition in the Northwest by touring all over Washington, Idaho, and Oregon. LUCID, dubbed ôthe next big thing to come out of Washingtonö by Tripp Rogers of ROCK 94.5. Their first album is due to be released in FALL 2004.
