Modern Defense was formed in 2003 by Michael Duke (vocals, guitar) and Bob Jewell (bass, guitar), and Some Guy on drums. Some Guy didn''t work out, and after his departure Modern Defense was inactive most of the year. In December, Aaron Igel began playing drums for the band, and Modern Defense rocked again.
Modern Defense is primarily a noise-rock band. While the bass and drums give a solid backing, our guitars have diverse sounds. The guitar sounds vary from light overdrive sounds, to synth-like textures, to spacious walls of sound.
With a new drummer and a new drive, Modern Defense plans on conquering the world, america-style in 2004. watch out or we''ll steal your oil and undermine your government with our superior economic strength.
