doesnt fake and set up mean the same thing?

usually houston comes out swinging, but he's been knocked COLD a few times recently... i think he was scared to bang. really, it was houston's fault. kimbo was stalking him around the ring, but its hard to hit someone who is circling and backpedaling the entire time. i thought the second round of that fight was fun. kimbo reminded me of randleman with that suplex.

for real, jon jones is all kinds of badass. steve mazzagatti is a shit ref though. "are you ok!? fight back!" he says to the def guy that has his eyes closed because of the blood running into them. the fight should have been stopped earlier but jones got frustrated i think and made a rookie mistake with those downward elbows.

I think Jones and Hamill need to have a rematch. Hamill was given a gift after getting his face beaten off. I like Hamill but i wouldn't be happy with that win but at the same time with how badly he was outclassed, i wouldn't want to fight him again either. Jones is going to make waves in the LHW division. Destroying Hamill who isn't an easy win showed that. I can't wait to see who his next opponent is.

The Kimbo/Alexander fight was pretty atrocious but like it was previously said, you can't fault Kimbo. He tried to fight and Houston backpeddled the whole time. I think Houston was gunshy because this was his biggest oppurtunity with the company and to get back in their good graces that he didnt want to rush into a slugfest and risk getting KO'd. So i can kind of understand it but at the sametime, running the entire fight basically praying for the counter KO isn't going to win the bosses over either. With that said, Kimbo is going to have some trouble with whomever he fights next. He's going to be stuck fighting the bottom rung guys in the division.

Frankie Edgar continues to look awesome. I hope by some strange reason Nate Diaz is able to upset Maynard in January so that Edgar can get next crack at BJ. I don't think he'd beat BJ but he definitely deserves a chance.

I like Marcus Jones and it was definitely hard to watch him get KO'd again but he definitely isn't UFC material. Mitrione is far from someone to write home about and to lose to him says alot. Jones should have gotten him down and put that away with an armbar within the first 2 minutes. If the UFC doesn't give him another fight, he'll probably retire from the sport, which is a shame since he seems to love doing it.

Roy Nelson....Well i predicted him to win the whole thing right from the announcement of the cast. However as the show progressed i became increasingly impressed with Brendan Schaub and i picked him to win over Nelson. Well i should have stuck with my original feelings. I just didn't think Nelson would do it standing. Props to him. Now lets see what he can do with the top HW in the world. I'd like to see him fight someone like Frank Mir.

i think roy nelson could have success against like 60 percent of the division. not sure how he is off of his back though.

and as far as a rematch, i think the UFC will bypass that and just give jones someone better. he beat the dog shit out of hamill, and although his record says he lost, he didnt. im not even sure hamill would take a rematch.

Jones dismantled Hamill. It wasn't even funny. Sucks he got DQ'd. I didn't really agree with that decision. It wasn't the downward elbow that finished Hamill, it was the face pounding he was receiving before that elbow. If anything, I think it should have been a no contest.

Nelson won like he was expected to do, but I thought Schaub would have made it a better fight. I was pulling for him.

Frankie Edgar has been looking really good since his loss to Maynard. He's small for the division, but he doesn't give a fuck and wrecks people regardless. I like that. I was super impressed after he beat the snot out of Sherk.

I LOL'd hard when Kimbo suplexed Houston. There were almost tears in my eyes I was laughing so hard. That shit was awesome. That was one of the best suplexes I've seen in the octagon, and the fact it came from Kimbo made it even better.
