Fight can go either way, just like the last one. If Shogun comes in the same way and Machida changes things up there is a really good chance of Shogun losing. On the other side Shogun could just be more aggressive instead of his corner telling him he's winning, and could end the fight as well. It will definitely be an interesting fight.

Machida has based his entire life and fighting career on his karate, he's not going to make much change in his game, if anything he might try to take the fight to the ground or come at Shogun more aggressive. Shogun on the other hand has seen everything he has to offer basically and the biggest problem with the last fight is Shogun didn't go after him enough. I think Shogun comes out more aggressive and pressures Machida alot more and wastes him away with the kicks again but sets up more attack at the head this time as well.

Yeah I don't expect Machida to come out in full Muay Thai style or anything, but he will probably have a different gameplan. I have to watch that fight again sometime because I only saw it once at a bar, but I think Machida has the ability to beat anyone. Whatever happens I really don't expect Shogun to just run over Machida unless there is a quick KO or something like that. Machida will give anyone at 205 serious problems at the very least.

so far it looks like all striking battles. The sole exception might be Machida/Shogun.
