What happens when Fox gets ahold of this guy?!

Dr. Wynne LeGrow may be the first "open" atheist to secure such a position in the US. While the political prejudice against atheists is barely even a blip on the political radar today, it seems like it may only be a matter of time, albeit a long time.

Its not sharia law we have to worry about as far as theocracy.

It's a good thing hell I may be only 15 but one of the things I'll do when I enter the big wide world is do my best so that the Roman Catholic church is removed from the face of the Earth, why??? because since their Inception they have been a bunch of dogmatic pricks, and then take care of the muslims. Hell even Jews ( the religious sort not the race) should be surgically removed... don't get me started on religion please

you have to believe in something to be an athiest. In a strange way alot of them probably have more faith than most christians. character is the only thing that matters, and not religion. there is only right and wrong, not religion. Who gives a terd? The terds.

Well, I don't know about that one. In '99 a poll showed that almost half (48%) of the country wouldn't vote for an atheist, simply because they're an atheist.

Actually, here's some of the other results from that along with previous studies:

Catholic: 4% (1937: 30%)
Black: 5% (1958: 63%, 1987: 21%)
Jewish: 6% (1937: 47%)
Baptist: 6%
Woman: 8%
Mormon: 17%
Muslim: 38%
Gay: 37% (1978: 74%)
Atheist: 48%

It's good to see we can get over nonsense, although, I bet the Muslim thing is even higher now.

atheism is the lack of a belief in a god. that's all. faith need not come into it.

theism is the lack of a belief that there is no god.

If necessary, what I'm saying is that the church has been holding humanity back for far too long, you imagine how the world would have been had the church not existed, we would have 3x the knowledge we have now and 4x the technology. And if I say the muslims most be eliminated is because they are dangerous in a sense seeing how the Quran promotes violence.... but so does the bible.Hypocrites all of them.
