i guess the content of the first paragraph bothers me so much that i don't really understand why people bother focussing on the 3rd (beyond it being amusing and interesting - like a tv drama). the reason why this is focussed on is because it can damage him politically. if you don't think it should, then why bother paying attention to the spectacle at all?

i'm not just attacking you. shit like this constantly happens here, and it's easy to get caught up in. i think people (including myself) should question what they pay attention to a bit more. then news orgs might be pressured into producing a decent media. that's the dream, anyway.
