that "church" is ridiculous...it shouldn't even be called a church. It should be a club, a "hate" club on par with the kkk...

No, they are definitely a church no matter what you or anyone else thinks of their beliefs. Still a church.. still christian.. and only out of the mainstream in the degree of their hate, not what they hate.

Yeah...Colossians 3:11 ESV

Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.

The only difference between their church and your faith is that they're more honest about their hatred.

But that is not the real world. They're cut off from it because their brains are being fucked with (split, really) from the drugs.

Thats a pretty vague description... oh, and it also kinda fits in far better with post modernism and post structuralism... not medication. You are describing effects that are simply unrealistic in what is known to be possible with ANY drug. And, really.. doesn't your argument boil down to them not accepting YOUR particular view of what the real world is? Do you see the same sort of thing in people who are not on SSRIs?

What the hell is a "normal" christian? Basically that just comes back to your assertion that christians who are unlike you are not really christians in the first place... which is bullshit and has been repeated by every single sect for a couple thousand years.

They are a church. They are in many ways still justified by the Bible. Get over it. You disagree with them, which means you are morally slightly better than the book you and they both believe in.

Also, Matt.. most "normal" christians in the middle ages would burn people for witchcraft. The number of christians who believe one particular thing doesn't inherently make that thing true or false or truly christian or truly non-christian. Its not a popularity contest.

i like disagreeing with matt as much as the next guy...but he's kinda right. 99.9% of christians/people in general think WBC's disgusting. They're far from "normal" in their take on the religion.

Well, he is factually correct in that most reject them, but my point of disagreement is in assuming that this makes other Christans "normal". More numerous, surely, but that doesn't necessarily define normalcy as normal is a very tricky and subjective term. It can be simplified to simply mean what is done or believed by the majority, but that then makes the term normal itself rather redundant and useless and all its other connotations meaningless.
