For those of you that aren't friends with me on Facebook and haven't seen my posts about this yet; this is for you.

I have begun working on a documentary titled "The Ride"; it's as about as real life as it can get regarding stories about myself and a few other who fell hard into the world of drug addiction, depression and hopelessness. The story starts off showing the grimy side of white suburbia, the side that most parents (including my own) refuse to believe exists, it will venture into some of the hardest parts of Philadelphia, Chester and Darby as well. There is/will be extremely graphic content, in depth interviews, and first hand footage from some of the most dangerous streets there are.

Unfortunately, on my first day of shooting; my camera was lifted by someone while I was on Somerset by the EL. Granted, I was alone and it was 11:30 at night. That was was some of the best footage I have ever seen, including a scene where the guy I was following and filming; made me shove a needle into my arm to prove I wasn't an undercover CI. This is when I has to tap a vein, then pull the needle out and push it back through and out the skin; letting the drugs drip down my arm and soak into my track pants. That was the most petrified I had ever been in my entire life.

That's how dedicated I am to this. I feel it is my duty to show people and teach people about what this part of the world is like, about how it is so much closer to your children than you think. I hope the lessons learned and the fear instilled within people will be able to help save some lives.

Please, please....pass this along. Repost this and if you can donate a dollar or two. I have 30 days (July 27th) to reach my goal of $5,000. Which isn't much for production costs these days.

This means more to me than I could ever put into words. Thank you from the bottom of my heart...

A lot of people have come to me asking if they can speak about the subject since they have had personal experience whether it be themselves who were addicted or they watched a close friend/family fall apart. I am open to anyone and everyone who fits the above criteria to speak in this. The more the better as far as i am concerned. You would be credited and what not; if you don't want to show your face we can arrange that as well.

Donation page for this is still up, this is a new page, not the kickstarter one from a few months ago. I didn't reach my goal so no one was charged.

We don't want to sell the rights to this, We would rather distribute it ourselves. I hold this film that close to me and feel that selling it would open up the doors to it being cut and censored. The more money we get donated to us, the better the pressed copies of this will be.
