Spooks Infest Marriott Hotel As Bilderberg Begins

Spooks, FBI agents and cops have descended on the Westfields Marriott hotel in Chantilly Virginia to scrutinize Jim Tucker and Alex Jones as the 2008 Bilderberg meeting gets underway today without even being mentioned in the American corporate media.

Immediately before appearing on the nationally syndicated Coast to Coast AM broadcast last night, a show that boasts around 16 million listeners, Alex Jones was interrupted by a fire alarm which forced him to leave the hotel.

"I know this is a set-up, they timed this exactly..the moment the phone rang the alarm goes off..they want to use this to flush us out of here," Jones told host George Noory.

Jones added that he was also confronted by a security guard 30 minutes before the interview who told him to stop filming and made a bizarre out of context reference to a fire alarm.




"This is some kind of stunt, these bastards walked up to us and made a comment about fire alarms, we come in here the phone rings and right as the phone rings and they pick it up this alarm goes off," said Jones.

Jones also said that FBI agents had grilled him and Tucker on whether he "was planning anything violent" during a confrontation in the hotel restaurant.

"There's agents and spies everywhere..everywhere we go we are followed..they are questioning us, getting in our faces," said Jones, who was also detained and interrogated before the 2006 Bilderberg meeting in Ottawa Canada.

"All we're trying to do is get the First Amendment out, we're reporters, it's our right when 120 world leaders show up, we have a right and a duty to find out what's going on," he added.

Since the U.S. corporate media has steadfastly refused to utter one word on 125 powerbrokers meeting in secret to discuss the future of the planet, it is not only the duty, but the neccessity of the alternative media to fill the hole and keep Americans informed about what is taking place this week in Chantilly.




If 125 film stars booked out a hotel, arrived in dark-tinted limosuines and met in secret do you think the corporate media would be interested in finding out what they were there to discuss?

Yet 125 top CEO's, hugely influential philanthropists, heads of state, NATO officials, academic leaders, banking kingpins, and European royalty - the very people that shape the destiny of the world - can get together for three days without a single U.S. corporate media outlet reporting on it.

You certainly won't read about it in the Washington Post, the New York Times or the Wall Street Journal, since the editors of those three newspapers are all Bilderberg members.

This is why Tucker and Jones are forced to undergo harassment and scrutiny almost every year merely for covering the event - because not one mainstream media outlet dare break ranks with its elite owners and undertake real investigative journalism.

I don't know too much about them at all, but from what I've seen of hidden footage, and interviews with members, it seems like a group of incredibly powerful people talking without being scared of the media with some really weird and expensive rituals thrown in.

Alex called in to the show about an hour ago - he said that security is intense, more than double what it was for the Ottawa meeting. Security and spooks are following Alex and his cameraman everywhere they go. Security forces knew Alex and Rob by name. Alex said he'd call back with more updates later this afternoon.

It's bullshit the mainstream media won't even acknowledge it's existence much less cover this meeting.

^Well if you ever breathe a word of its existence in the media you then have to explain what it is and what it does.. at least to some degree. Its not like the IMF or World Bank or even WTO where the name sort of describes something about what goes on there... so no explanation is necessary to get people to ignore it.

Alex Jones is a celebrity who has infiltrated the meeting with a video camera on at least one occasion. Obviously they're going to know his name.

I don't really know why they attempt to intimidate people in the way they do (with all the following and stopping/watching/leaving/coming back/leaving), but it's not like they actually do anything.

Dwarn...when a story cites only anonymous sources, and has "True?" in the headline...it's not exactly a fact yet. just figured i'd mention it.

No one's denying that it's a gathering made up some of the most powerful people in the world.

It's interesting, and I don't mean to get on you for bringing it up, but it doesn't prove a new world order or whatever, which is what people like Alex Jones imply, if not explicitly state.

It definitely is an interesting group of people to have in the same place, and I would be curious to know exactly what they do there.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- What seemed to be a routine evening waiting for Barack Obama aboard his campaign plane turned into anything but when the cabin doors closed and the passengers were informed the aircraft would be taking off immediately -- without the candidate.

The first sign something was amiss on the Thursday flight came when the pilot told those aboard -- about 25 members of the media, a smaller group of Obama staffers and only a handful of Secret Service agents -- that everyone was on board and that the plane would be departing for Obama's hometown of Chicago, Illinois, momentarily.

The press soon noticed there were far too few people aboard for a standard campaign flight. Something was different. It's fair to say that the term "everyone" was used a bit loosely -- especially when the presumptive nominee appeared to be missing.

As the plane taxied, communications director Robert Gibbs admitted that Obama was remaining behind because he "wasn't going to be back in D.C. for a while" and had "scheduled some meetings" before he left.

Obama staffers, including Gibbs and Linda Douglass, a newly appointed senior adviser and campaign spokeswoman, didn't ask the reporters on board if they'd prefer to wait on the runway in Washington until the meetings concluded. They were going to Chicago. Without Barack Obama.

"I'm not going to discuss what he's going to do tonight," Gibbs added before heading up to the front of the plane, moments before wheels up from Washington Dulles International Airport in Virginia.

For 45 minutes before departure, however, Obama's staffers gave the impression that everyone was waiting because Obama would arrive shortly.

With the plane sitting on the tarmac, staffers shot the breeze with members of the press as if nothing was amiss, though they later admitted they knew all along Obama wasn't coming.

One campaign aide said he asked not to be told what was going on so that he "wouldn't have to lie."

Asked later in the evening why the press was kept waiting there if they knew Obama wasn't coming, Gibbs said he "had two phone calls to make."

Once airborne, a timid and slightly giggly Gibbs granted the confused and agitated press corps a meeting, one that any eyewitness would have easily labeled contentious and heated. VideoWatch the riled press corps grill Gibbs »

Gibbs took on a barrage of questions, and, to his credit, listened to what he called the "anticipated grievances" from the press for almost 20 minutes.

"He's having a secret meeting tonight, and we're not going to see him until Monday" because of three scheduled "down days," one reporter began. "I'd like to say that's unacceptable. He's the -- "

"Presumptive Democratic nominee?" Gibbs finished, adding a giggle. "Yeah."

Questions centered largely on why the press was essentially held hostage with no candidate and no choice but to fly to Chicago on a chartered plane -- a flight many news organizations pay thousands of dollars to keep their journalists stationed on, ideally with the candidate.
