I saw my old Organic Chemistry professor today in the research lab, and I haven't seen him in like a year, and I'm not even sure he remembers my name, but he says to me apropos to NOTHING...
"I bought a box of praying mantises and let them go in my back yard. and I sat out there for hours waiting to watch one catch a bug. sure enough a bee... or y'know a yellow jacket, one of those blue ones, landed next to it--you could see it knew, it got exicted--it knew there was food nearby--"
"And it killed it?" I asked interjecting.
"No. it just sat there. I went inside to get my camera, and when I came back out it had already started eating it." [his lets out a sad sigh]
