is really an awesome game. I've been sucked deep into the story. It's basically a combination of The Thing and Aliens. I love it.

I can't wait to get my hands on that Doctor so i can cut his head off with the plasma cutter. Make it slow and painful.

i really liked it as well.....i think it was by far one of the better horror games out in a while....and by far the best one of played on the next gen systems.

also the interface is top notch.....every game out there should take a gander at how Dead Space did it.

i need to get my copy back from my brother to play on the harder levels.

Just watched Dead Space:Downfall yesterday.

Not as bad as you might think.

i thought there was only 10 levels and i just got to 9...then i looked at the achievement list and realized there are 12 levels...i thought i was so close to beating it.

the game is just getting better now. the storyline is awesome. i'm going to watch that movie when i'm done this. I wonder if it follows the game.

The movie is a prequel to the game and actually animates some of the events you see through the video journals in the game, albeit not accurately. There is a TON of swearing, it seems to eat up half the dialogue of the movie haha. It's not bad.

The game itself was fine, I enjoyed it but became way too bored with it in the long run; I beat it and the storyline had a great twist, as any good horror game does, but I sold it to somebody else so I could buy Left 4 Dead instead.

Prefer Resident Evil series.

yeah would rather play resident evil, it was fun but i got bored being the janitor on a space ship, all you fuckin do is run around fixing things. it was pretty creepy though ill give it that

Haha the janitor line is hilarious. Just started playing last night and a little today. On chapter four now. So far it's a bit repetitive, but still fairly fun. It really reminds me a lot of Doom 3.

Just finished this. Pretty fun overall, the ending kind of sucks, but it was cool to play through. At some point I'll probably play through again, but definitely not for a while.

apparently this is in development for Wii now.

obviously won't look as good...but the controls seem like they'd translate pretty well to the wii.
