because god doesn't exist and religion has and always will be mans way of keeping other men down.

people have been on earth for a long long time. yet the one and true religon has only been around for 2000 years....doesnt sit well with me.

because a priest touched my butthole

If having the church meant having each other, I didn't want any part of it. I met the worst kind of people with religion. The idea of god naturally made me want to puke.

I was raised catholic, went to a christian youth group thing for a while with a friend who suddenly turned fundamentalist sometime in junior high...but none of it really stuck with me. Mostly i just didn't really buy into it. I don't think less of people who do believe...it's just not for me.

I could never point to a particular event or time in my life when I stopped believing. I don't know why people do that. I just know I am finally free.

Jesus's teachings seem pretty solid. Christian faith is retarded though.

Because I believe that Jesus was a real person, but not the son oh God or divine in anyway. I do believe in the idea of a 'god' though.
