Bullshit like Rusko is what ruined dubstep here. We call that shit bro step because all the asshole college kids go nuts to it. Dubstep has thankfully evolved past that. Hyperdub, Tempa and Planet Mu are the only good labels putting out intelligent forward thinking dubstep out nowadays.

I've been listening to some of it lately, although you pretty much need to be partying to listen to it for awhile. Check out ruskos remixes, benga, and incision for some heavy dub.

I think I'm going to go to starscape this year in Baltimore which has a decent lineup of dub acts
