I 100% agree.

On a related note, why is it so fucking hard to adopt a dog? My girlfriend and I have been trying to go online and adopt a dog. Half the time we never get a reply back, other times its a real generic "no" response.

as far as application goes, the dog would have it made. I work 9-5, she bartends and manages a club, so there is literally someone home 90% of the time. We live in a row home, with a super small fenced in patio, but we're right across the street from a giant park. We have no kids, no other pets, and If anything the dog might suffer from getting way too much attention.

End of rant, but just wondering.

Drive to the ASPCA, play with the dogs. Pick one you like, talk to them about it. Usually you can bring them home the next day. Those dogs need more help than the ones in the no kill shelters.

I imagine the no kill shelters are who you've been contacting. They are usually slow to respond, if at all. Not sure why, but I guess since there isn't a rush to save the dog from being euthanized, they can afford to act that way.

God forbid I try to help a friend out who is moving and can't take the dogs with him.

It's his choice to sell them, not mine.
