I'm fairly broke but I can't stand to play my pos epi lp standard any more(i've played 200 dollar guitars that felt better) I'm left handed and a lot of companies seem to charge premiums for lefty guitars but doesn't seem to be so with agile. These agiles seem priced almost too good to be true. Does anyone have any experience with them? I keep reading a ton of buzz about them online but i'm not sure it can be trusted. I don't want to be dupped into another 600 dollar shit heap. I have emgs i can use and I am. currently looking to get some nice passives that i will be buying regardless so i'm not really concerned with their pickup quality. Just the guitars themselves.

agiles are great. the lower end models arent great, but you can get a killer guitar for 200-600 bucks there. the thing with their pricing is that you arent paying for the name, and you are buying direct from the guys that make them, so you save a ton of money that you would be paying for gibsons name/guitar centers pockets. thats why the price is so low. but yeah, great guitars. ive played a few and i wanna buy one when i have enough money to care about getting another guitar. i know the dude from Daylight plays one, look how good they sound.

as true is this is i've been at it backwards for 8 years now and don't much feel like starting from scratch.

I ended up sanding out the gouge in the neckt/the gloss finish on my epi. replaced both the pickups with stock gibbys and some other work. I don't hate it half as much now so i'm not in quite as big of a rush. Still think i'm going to grab an agile for next guitar. Especially after all the positive responses i've received here and from others....

Thinking 7 string but then I feel like if i'm going to add extra strings why not just go for 8?

They offer multiple scale choices which is more than some huge company's do with their models. I never understood why they built 24/25 inch scale guitars aside from maybe someone having small hands.

Heard Agile is pretty reliable. One of the guys at our rehearsal studio just ordered an 8 string, hasn't come in yet. I haven't heard much about their 8's in particular.

so has anyone else bought/played an AL-2000 and if so are they worth the money in comparison to an epiphone?

8 string guitars should probably only be played by one band.

All of the Agile guitars I have seen in person have been really nice. I'd like to order one some time in the future.
