Pulling airplanes has taken it's toll on my back. I have some severe back pain these days, makes it almost impossible to walk. I've already missed 2 days of work this week. Not trying to miss more.

Went to the ER on Thursday night and was told I needed an MRI but they don't do them there, and I don't have insurance. Does anyone know where I can go and just pay some cash up front and get the damned thing done so I can show the doctor I go to where to stick the cortisone shot?

Well, of course, but I mean, I don't have a thousand dollars. I need someone to do one for me on the cheap, like $300 cash. I know I'd have to make an appointment but I need to know where to look and was hoping someone had a hook-up. I know it's a longshot but if I don't get one, I'm fucking done. I won't be able to work or do anything because I can't stand up for more than a half a minute.

Honestly though, if the price point isn't right, you can go to your bank and ask for a short term loan. It's not a terminal illness where you would default(expire), so the lender shouldn't think it's a huge risk and will probably keep the interest rate lower than a credit card.

I know places like urgent care do x-rays, I doubt they do MRI's. You could look into it though.
