Kinda wish America had as many fest's as Europe. Anyone know why were lacking in that department? No money? No one cares? We would probably book to many "Deathcore" bands?

There's a California Deathfest that looks awesome. But you're right, the US sucks for festivals.

I miss Milwaukee Metal Fest. I only went once (got to see Death) and had a ton of fun. Maryland Deathfest is about the closest thing you'll get to a fest similar to the ones in Europe but even that pales in comparison to the open air fests like Wacken or Hellfest.

The last deathfest I went to was when they still had it inside I think Nuclear Assault was the big headliner.
I'd like to go to Prog Power but that shit sells out in a second! Need more folk/black/power metal bands but since no one really likes that stuff in America its never going to happen.

It might have been run terribly but I was young as shit the year I went and from a fans point of view I don't remember much to complain about.
