The John Snow/Ygritte story has strayed really far from the book already, which is surprising because what happened in the book was kind of the jump off point for a major plot line. Interested to see how they handle that.

i really don't know what the deal with that is, the boards themselves and how images are displayed hasn't changed in 2 years.

that is the only variation to the story that i have a gripe with, but ultimately, i don't think it's going to mess with the stories direction too much because we are going to wind up in the same place.. at least I hope.
i actually love what they did with the 13 last night in the episode.
danys chapters in book 2 are boring as fuck, but the way they are doing it in the show is great imo.

The guy playing the Warlock is super creepy, so seeing him show up on the screen 13 times at once was 13 times as creepy looking.
