Knowing that I need to pick up the slack with the package I got, I did a random blind pick and ended up with Chicago's own Sabre.

I started it on the first track and was immediately met with feedback which slowly led into sloppy drumwork and dissonant guitar work. This song was purely instrumental and didn't change up or improve any. Unearthly Body introduced the vocals in the mix and yet again the band lost points for me. After "Condescension" I ended up skipping through tracks looking for something that could make this band decent but couldn't find.

I guess the best way to describe this band is discordant experimental music meets the vocalist of slipknot and a extremely slowed down version of Converge. The final nail in the coffin was the production. I honestly don't think that i've heard a worse job at production before listening to this.

Wow...this might possibly be the laziest review I have ever read. Sabre is from Cincinnati, OH not Chicago. Hard to take this seriously when you don't even have your info. straight. Why review a record you haven't actually listened to? Pretty pathetic.
