Simple, straight forward, stoner oriented, sludge. This albums drum beat and tempo had my neck hurting from the constant head nodding I was maintaining while listening.

As far as I'm aware the vocals are unique to the genre in that they're feminine. However it has a descent mix of the gruff gravel sound associate with the genre and still maintains the "femininity" in the backing vocals. Very interesting to listen to.

The guitar/bass/drumming are what you'd expect in this end of the metal pool. A solid heavy, thick distortion while the bottom end is hammering out the beat, as mentioned before, in a head banging-friendly manner. Theres a cool, instrumental track as well that adds a cosmic/airy feeling to the end of the album called Hands that Prey.

I've you're into rock 'n' roll, hold the gas pedal to the floor, metal. . .pick this up.

*High John the Conqueror and Descent from the Summit were my two favorite tracks*
