This may be the worst album I've ever listened to and I really wish I could have left that one sentence as my review. It really pains me to recall listening to this album. Being never able to hear would be better than having to hear this garbage again. A cruel joke or one of the band members runs the label are the only two options I can come up with on how this band got signed.

The Foreshadowing hails from Italy and they need to stay there. I never want the misfortune of having to see this band live by accident. As far as I know this is the bands first release and lets all hope it's their last. Days Of Nothing was a truly painful record to listen to and I just got done listening to the newest Pink record. The entire album is a gothic metal suicide note. This is up there in the list of most depressing melancholic albums I've ever listened to. I got to track 5 before the scratches on the disc ruined the rest of the album but by that point I had far more than enough.

A snail has a faster pace than this album. Your options for speed are slow and slower. In the few tracks I heard the album never changed tempo. The music and the lyrics are both of equally depressing nature. Song content seems to be solely about how lonely and disconnected they are from the world and that they can't wait for the end. The sorrowful nature of the clean vocals that sing these words will make you cry. The ambient sounds mixed with the downtuned guitars creates and atmosphere that is definitely the soundtrack for all the cutters of the world. The back of the packaging has a quote from the band saying "We don't feel part of this world and we don't need to believe in any creed, convention, or lifestyle. We just wait for the right end of this wrong and cruel world". I won't be surprised at all when I hear that the report that they all drank the kool-aid.

I curse Chris Brickhouse with every breath I take for punishing me with the obligation of reviewing this record that words can't describe how completely terrible it is. The only good that came from this is that anything I review in the future will be better than this pile of elephant droppings.

I've never heard this band and I'm sure I never will, but it sounds like your whole review is being based on how depressing it is. Which, sounds like that is exactly what the band is trying to do.

that probably is the case but because they nailed what they were going for doesn't result in making good music.

i could try to make the most crazy chaotic album in history and pull it off but most people would hate it.

I totally agree with you. I was just wondering what made the music itself bad.

i stated the slow pace, the clean vocals, the lyrical content, and the overall sound of the band (guitars and ambient sounds). Combined they all form depression in a physical form much like Voltron. Their whole image is what makes them bad. Its kind of like looking at some of the bands like Aiden and then hearing their music. The whole package is pitiful.
