I remember listening to Unwritten Law back in the mid to late 90's when I was first starting to listen to punk. They weren't great, but they wrote some pretty good punk rock songs. I haven't listened to them in over ten years so when I saw this I was excited to hear what they were putting out these days.

I sit down and press play to hear the punk rock flow. To my dismay they sound more akin to Billy Talent or another emo-y pop punk band. The vocals sound a lot like the "indie" rock bands that came out a few years ago like the Strokes.

The album is over produced and none of the songs are even remotely catchy or good. The track with Del tha Funkee Homosapien started out great then the singer of Unwritten Law sang and ruined it. There are no redeeming qualities to this record.

All in all this was a total disappointment. Just more radio friendly garbage to try to make a buck. This is definitely something to skip unless you are a huge fan of this terrible genre of music.

I always liked these guys, but I did not have high hopes for this album. Based on the itunes preview I will not be let down.

Loved everything UL did from Blue Room to self-titled (self-titled is one of those albums that i know every word and note to) and i even liked most of Elva .. this album and the album before it on the other hand, are complete fucking horseshit - boring, self indulgent annoyingly-poppy horseshit.

I was hoping for some kind of return to form but gave it one listen and BABOWWWWWW
