On their Facebook page today, the Sword announced that they will be entering the studio to record their follow up for "Warp Riders" - easily one of my favorite albums of 2010. The album will be titled "Apocryphon". Full details inside.

"We head into the studio later this month to begin work on our fourth album, to be entitled Apocryphon. It will be produced/engineered by J. Robbins and feature cover art by J.H. Williams III! Release is slated for early this fall with a worldwide tour starting in October."
This news follows up the news of their signing to Razor & Tie - one of the largest labels around right now. This will surely help them gain even more recognician - but they have done a pretty good job on their own with their constant touring, and well... because they are just awesome. Be sure to grab the Hammer of Heaven single picturedisc that is out now.
