Violent Offense, a hardcore punk rock band, formed in 2004 straight out of Youngtown's gutters. They are known for being straight to the point, unapologetic, in your face, anti-racist, anti-authority band which seems to have attracted a larger and larger following as the years go on. Through the ups and downs, the break ups and reformats, Violent Offense has always proven that punk rock in northeast Ohio is anything but dead. As long as there are a few in the audience, the violence will never end.

Inspirations for VO's songs come from many different artist as well as many different genera's of music. From 80's hair metal gods like Poison to country king Johnny Cash, Caustic Christ to GG Alin, it is obvious that every member of the band, old and new, bring something different to the table which gives Violent Offense their impressive and unique sound.

In 2005 they released their first EP: Fuck the Law. 2012 brought the release of the Race Riot/Violent Offense split and currently the boy are writing new music and heading into the recording studio. Certainly they have proven time in and time out that they can stick it through anything and bring the crowd exactly what they came for: songs they can sing along to while they destroy everyone and everything at arm's length.
